Pseudo-Probabilistic Design for High-Resolution Tsunami Simulations in the Southwestern Spanish Coast

The application of simulation software has proven to be a crucial tool for tsunami hazard assessment studies. Understanding the potentially devastating effects tsunamis leads development safety and resilience measures, such as design evacuation plans or planning economic investment necessary quickly mitigate their consequences. This article introduces pseudo-probabilistic seismic-triggered approach investigate potential impact in southwestern coast Spain, provinces Huelva Cádiz. Selected faults, probabilistic distributions sampling methods are presented well some results nearly 900 Atlantic-origin computed along 250 km-long coast.
